Sitting here tonight I was beginning to feel a little restless and have decided to do another Letterbox animation. I suddenly remembered a very talented musician an old friend who plays guitar in his own, Nottingham-based band "Kingazera" and who now plays guitar in two bands. I just telephoned him to discuss the nucleus of an idea that's been forming in the back of my 'ol brain. I asked him if his band could record a cover of the Beetles "Lucy in the sky with diamonds" but substitute Suzie for Lucy in the lyrics. I will then do a new animation to go with it, another flight of fancy for my feverish imagination and release it as another unreleased Letterbox video a further tribute to my girl and a fun collaborative project. Of course it will hopefully be good publicity for his band. I might even blow the dust off of my drum kits and lay down a drum track myself, that''l be fun.
