:( Oh well ... can't blame her in a way ... once you see a kitten there is usually no going back! LOL

What about these two? I know they aren't pure breeds, but I'm informed by the lady caring for them, they are lovely! :)

All I want to say here is that this lady has 2 other middle aged Siamese, indeed she has had Siamese all her life. I suspect that despite my endevours and lots of searching she will succumb to a kitten.  Which is a shame, as I know that its only a matter of time before a lovely puss comes her way in need of a home.

Didnt want to offend! But when you know a loving home awaits you try your best.

Thanks for that Brigid, I have heard that siamese can be quite temperamental, so obviously what you have said makes sense.  No offence was meant im sure and I certainly wasnt judging just wondering, in my opinion any cat rescue be it for pedigrees or non pedigrees do a fantastic job and of course the cat has to be placed in a home appropriate for its needs.   There are some gorgeous cats on your site , I love the lilac point female that you have on there shes gorgeous  :Luv:

Hello to you all-just to put you straight about our rehoming policy. We don't home adult Siamese with non Siamese type breeds as the Siamese can be very unpleasant to them and make their llife a misery with their bullying.Of course not all adult Siamese do it but unfortunately there is no way to know beforehand if it will happen so we made the decision that we will only home with other similar over the top cats.i.e.Rex,Orientals etc.because we want the home we find to be our cats last home and not to have it returned for bad behaviour. Please don't judge caring rescues by misquoted conversations.

Siiamese rescue will not rehome with an existing cat, believe me we have tried to get abit of flexiablility here but it just isnt happening.  Instead we are trying to find an organisation that has bit more flexiable attitude. Shame because it is a very loving home.

Hello all
I am posting this on behalf of one of our loyalvolunteers who is looking to replace a female siamese she lost a few months back. Hardly replace really wrong words there.  She has 2 other middle aged cats, is a retired person in most of the day, lives in a street with nice back garden. Has plenty of experience with Siamese. She is particularly looking for a female.

I have been looking for ages but nothing Kent way, as the lday dosnt drive travelling afar is a problem. I can vouch for her as a loving home.  The trouble is if nothing turns up soon, despite my pleas she will probably go and buy a kitten. I dread the thought, and hope that she can see that given some time and searching there is a puss out their for her.  Siamese rescue are not keen on rehoming with existing cats as I have already tried them.

Any other sources of information much appreciated, before a loving home gets occupied by a kitten.
