Hi Jayne, the only thing I can think of for the mouth thing is smell. Cats can smell through their mouths so sometimes have them open slightly.

Look forward to hearing more about Boris, he sounds gorgeous (my pal Tessa who comes on here sometimes has a pure white boy with blue eyes, he's my fave little polar bear  :Luv:)

Hello again, a big thank-you to everyone who answered my first message.........I will get my son to help me to put some photos of Boris on the site, I am sure you will all fall in love with him just like I have.   I wonder if anyone knows why sometimes he will sit on the floor, look up at me and keep opening and closing his mouth quite slowly......I normaly do this back to him and he will do it again.......this can continue quite a few times.    In answer to the question if Boris was a rescue kitten,  no I got him from a private house, even though he had runny eyes I fell for him at first site, he was the last kitten left and he was a boy which was what I wanted, he had eye drops for about ten days and now he is a picture of health, hope to speak again very soon , love Jayne x

This site can offer everything you want ... and more!  We are all happy to chat cats all day long but there is lots of really useful info on health and bevahiour as well as general chat on a whole range of subjects.  I'm sure you will have a great time on here we are all very friendly.

Hi Jayne, we don't spend time in the Chat Room much (although there is a quiz on in there this evening), and we tend to 'chat' in real time on some of the livelier threads, so it won't take you long to get into the swing of things. What I got from Purr's was a Lot of Support with Hamish, a lot of advice and answers to questions

Glad you've found us, it really is a great site - lots of fun, full of friendly helpful advice if needed and of course lots of gorgeous cats. Boris sounds gorgeous, I confess to having a thing for white cats  :Luv:  Look forward to hearing more about him and of course seeing him  :pic:  I must inform you though  that this place can be seriously addictive - you have been warned  :Crazy:

Hi there , I have just joined the site.  I have a white kitten who is fourteen weeks old called Boris....I spend a lot of time on my own during the week so he is great company, not quite sure what to expect from the site, thought maybe I would be able to chat to other people about cats / kittens and life,  hope to get to know some of you out there,  best wishes
