OT: Great British Duck Race - 31st August 2008

Hi folks,

I know this isn't cat-related but it's fun and for a cause very dear to my heart the NSPCC of which I've been a member for quite a while althought there are many other charaties involved.

"Last year the Great British Duck Race broke the World Record by racing 165,000 plastic ducks down the Thames, raising over £100,000 for charities, including the NSPCC. Adopt a duck for £2 in this year's race and you could win one of 30 top prizes."

I also live quire near Hampton Court so it would be fun to go along and wish my ducks good luck in person, I wonder if they do turbo "motorised" ducks with a little propeller below the waterline  :evillaugh:.

Cheers

Leigh
