Hi Ruth - if you can afford it why not get a set of loc8tor trackers www.loc8tor.co.uk for them - it may give you some extra peace of mind wherever you leave them.  One of my cats has one on her collar all the time anyway as she is a wanderer!  Best wishes for finding somewhere you are happy with xx

Hi - I'm going on holiday in September and am looking for a local cattery for our 3 kittens ages 5 months.  I have been to view Greenacres but have been a bit put off through reading your posts.  Would you have any other local catteries you could recommend?  I am already going to view brookhouse, nany y crabbos, maes gwyn and cats whiskers this week.  I'm already worried having to leave my babies behind and readign this thread hasn't helped!!  I look forward to hearing from you. Ruth

Oh, I'm so glad this story had a happy ending!  I've been following this story since the beginning and it's been such a long time for a wee pusscat to be out on his own, far from home.

I'm really looking forward to hearing about how he was found.

I'm so so so happy for you, and relieved - I did think about Harry many times and wondered if he was found/back safe yet! Give him a few more days and he'll be back to his usual self again - main thing is he is safe back where he belongs!!!!!!

As others have said, he will be back to normal in no time  ;D

Now you can  :box: with the cattery  :evillaugh:

Thanks Dawn for updating on my behalf, as I have let Dawn know Harry has been found safe. Im sorry we didnt keep you updated ourselves. We didnt want to antagonise the situation surrounding Harry's eascape and spent all our free time chasing sightings and laying traps / speaking to people in the area and answering calls to our Harry Hotline.

I am in work at the moment but will give you all a full update of events this evening, along with a few photo's of Harry. He has been checked over by the vets. He doesnt have any obvious injuries but he does feel very sorry for himself, lost a lot of confidence and his coat is very dirty and greasy, he hasnt wanted to wash himself yet, He has lost a lot of weight, he was always a lean cat but he really is fur and bones so is very weak at the moment. He cant get enough food but is very loose at the moment so we have had an interesting reunion  :) :-[

speak to you all later

thanks again for all your support.
