Well  :shy: but I have to agree with Kirst here! Unless we have been in the same situation we should not judge...the mind is a very powerful thing and if not working how it should it can make your life disastrous!  :( I actually think she was being brave to ask for help when needed... ;)

Well done Ela taking the cats in in such a short space of time..... ;)

In all fairness to the previous owner, I think she did love them,  in fact I know by the genuine way she reacted when she had to leave, it most certainly was not crocodile tears,  that is why she 'let them go' I think the problem is more medical, hopefully one day she will recover.

Ok I may put myself out on a limb here but I actually feel sorry for her. She could easily have lied and said her kids had developed an allergy or something but she was brave enough to be upfront and did her best to make sure the cats went somewhere they would be loved and looked after.

There are a lot of people out there who would have dumped the cats or had them PTS as it was easier. She is obviously not proud of her feelings towards them , and by the sounds of it has tried to overcome them.

They are a lovely pair and thank goodness they are out of that situation. How long before this woman takes a dislike to other things in her life and finds them messy or insanitory. Hubby perhaps or the kids?  :tired:

What a sad story. I tried not to pass judgement on the woman but I have.

I feel sorry for her children not having pets growing up. Anyway, we know they are in good hands now and are better off away from her.
