What have I started!!!

Actually as I am short for my weight I have had to curtail the alcohol consumption a bit as it seems at the age of 35 I am unlikely to grwo anymore!

Ah you see, by bottles tend to cost about £4 tops, I hit the special offers section or buy the 3 for £10 in Tesco so it works out cheaper overall ......... I'm such a cheapskate

I think so. although I have never done the maths. Basically a bottle costs around £6;00 and two bottles last 5 days, if I exercise restraint. A cask is £17:00 and lasts a week ... hmmm, maybe that is not cheaper ... well it seems cheaper cos you only do it once a week, lol

Am going dry at present due to concerns about my habits ...

Does it work out cheaper to buy the boxes, its never really occurred to me to look to be honest. Guess I can't really take up half a shelf in the fridge with wine lol

sadly my lot will have to wait until my guests arrive in June as they will be renting a car. In the mean time I am sticking to chateau cardboard a a safe alternative. Actually the M&S Pinot Grigio is not a bad drop

you see I always stress about dropping the glass and finding myself lying among broken shards, and it takes all the pleasure out of it. Will probably have to invest in some plastic wine glasses, lol, it's a nice thought though

I never actually introduced myself!

Im Kirsty , I hail from Oxford shore way and am the proud owner slave of a beautiful , and very vocal , Birman boy Beavis!

My mum and dad who live in the adjoining house to me are mummy and daddy to Fredcat (he doesnt answer to Fred!) who came into our garden as a stray four and a half years ago and has firmly become one of the family and is one of the most beautiful affectionate boys you could ever hope to meet!

I am currently on the hunt for a new kitty to keep Beavis company as we sadly lost his cousin Oscar last week - Ideally wanta rescue puss but he needs to fit in with our family...............fingers crossed!

Oh and Im a driving instructor as a job.................and have a weakness for red wine and bath smellies!
