Porriage needs to find a home on his own. C'bury CP Kent HOMED!

This little mite has had a rough start in life as he was seen thrown from a car a few weeks ago. A member of the public saw this and took him to a local vet where he was treated with for a few bruises but escaped anything serious.

Porriage is only 5 months old, he has been at the vets for 2 weeks as he started to sneeze abit in their care so was put on some antibiotics to clear it up. The vets didn’t suspect cat flu but to be on the safe side (because we don't wish him to infect other cats if it is) we would like to rehome Porriage to a only cat household, as although his sneezing has virtually gone, no one is quite sure what caused it.
Porriage is a little survivor, you can pick him up, give him uddles of cuddles and chin rubs and still he comes back for more. He really is a cheeky chappie but at the moment, still needs abit of confidence building as he does tremble abit when you first pick him up and cuddle him. its amazing that he still trusts people really. He does have an odd hapbit of picking up screwed up paper in his mouth, so be prepared for some paper toy fun around your living room.

Since being at the vets and with a proper diet his coat now shines, he has fab white whiskers and four white feet. His favourite past time is snuggling round you neck and playing with his toys.

Porriage needs a family home where he can use up his energy, he needs outside access via  cat flap. He doesn’t seem to mind cat friendly older dogs (he was living with dogs at the vet surgery for a few weeks and didn’t bat an eyelid). He would be absolutely fine with responsible kiddies that don’t subject him to tail pulling or chasing round the room. Perhaps older children rather then toddles, he does get under your feet and demands a lot of attention, so make sure you have the time to keep him ammused (or willing children to do that)!.

Porriage has been neutered, just started his vac course and is chipped.

He is currently in the care of Canterbury and District CP, as with all CP branches Homechecks would need to be done prior to rehoming, and if you are outside the area then we will need to cooperation of another CP branch or rescue to do that on our behalf.

We rely on donations to continue our work, please consider giving a donation if we assist in the rehoming of a cat, or if you adopt a cat from us.
