Thanks  I know we dont get Burns because that was my first choice for the rats, I called a few today and there is a shop that sells James Wellbeloved, just need to find it! x

My Oscar started off on whiskas/felix kitten food until i found out more about kitten food.  Now he has natures menu pouches which he really likes and its really high in meat content.. he wasnt too keen on the Hill's pouches but hopefully your kitty will like it.  He also have James Wellbeloved or Burns dry food.. again he wasnt keen on the Hill's dry food but he goes mad for the other two.. any flavour too!  Hopefully you can find a good local stockist of foods if he wont eat the Hill's one

Im in the channel islands so will probably have to pay postage    To be honest I dont want to rely on ordering food online because I used to order my rabbit food and I was spending about £30 a month on postage and it was such a pain when it didnt arrive on time and I had run out so I ended up switching to a food I could get here.

Im kind of limited in what I can get for the animals here because I dont shop in pet shops that sell animals so I guess one of those could sell it and I wouldnt know, I will definetly ask if the shops I do use can stock it though x

Vets are bias cos they make alot of money out of Hills foods!

James wellbeloved is a palatable food and is made with meat and rice. Mine love the turkey flavour

I dont think they sell that here, I seem to remember trying to find that brand of dog food here for my rats mix. I will have a look though  Thanks x

Ahh I am guessing the kitten is probably on whiskars kitten food but will check when I collect him/her. I have brought some of the Hills Natures Best Kitten dry food and some Hills Kitten pouches. See I have no idea whats the best one  I just asked the vet what to feed Smirnoff and because she is so fussy we tried a few and she eventually decided the Natures Best wanst that bad.

Definitely switch over gradually, mine were on Whiskas kitten when I got them and I gradually mixed in more and more of the new food over a week or so.  Never had any problems with tummy troubles thankfully.

My two had 'Natures Menu kitten' which has 70% meat for wet food and 'Pets at Home complete dry' (high quality biccie's similar to James Wellbeloved).

They're 9 months old and now have Bozita wet food and have just started them on adult Pets at Home biscuits.

Definitely check, but I would recommend a mix of both wet and dry food for them both.

Deffo stick to the original food while he/she settles in.
It depends what your kitty can digest but Natures Menu is a good quality food

Its been a long time since I have had a kitten and im not sure which is the best kitten food to get? I will find out what food the kitten has been fed so we can switch over properly 

Smirnoff is fed on a mixture of Hills natures best and the Hills dental food from the vets. I was 17 when I got her though so did it all wrong and fed her whiskas kitten pouches while she was young
