I was thinking about buying a Kat Kabin. They look very cool and I am sure Ozzy won't come in when she gets hers.

I have a rabbit hutch .... it's a double door one.  One door is solid and the other side has chick wire in it.  I fitted a piece of perspex (from a picture frame) over the chicken wire with electrical tape and there is an old feather pillow in there and Zephyr often goes sits in his hutch when it's raining and just watches the world go by.  I keep the "solid door proped open at all times so they can just wander in and out as they please.

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

A rabbit hutch should do the job or you could knock up a shelter from bits of wood if you are good at diy.

suggestions for outside shelter
« Reply #1 on: July 02, 2007, 11:39:04 AM »
At the weekend I had my 35ft conifers cut down (yipee at last the light has come on ha ha) anyway prior to this when Biscuit was outside she liked to settle down underneath them and they also kept her dry in downpours. Well as expected now the trees have gone so has her shelter. She's got access to indoors but you know how it is sometimes they just like sitting outside but I'm abit concerned about when its raining so any suggestions for a cheap outdoor shelter type thingy that looks nice.

Cheers
