SP he will give you a sign,trust me. 9 weeks ago this week I lost my beloved Sammy (my Samoyed) and the other day I heard a bark like hers,now obviously it wasn't her but I could of sworn I heard it as if she was beside me,I believe that was her way of telling me she was ok.

I wish I could say something to comfort you Helen. I can't imagine how you must be feeling as I have never lost a pet as an adult. The only thing about going so young is he was spared from illness and had a happy life and knew nothing but love.

It might take him a while but he will send you one, it took Tiggy almost two months... I couldn't help but look to the sky everytime it looked overcast, she finally sent me one when I was on holiday and least expecting it in the blazing sunshine / 40 degree heat.

I was hoping it would rain today so that Gizmo could send me a rainbow to let me know he is safe

I have spent most of the night and day crying as I am finding his sudden, totally unexpected death so hard to cope with and also coping with Louis who keeps calling for him too. he wants his bruv

we have cuddled Louis a lot today as and when he wants to be.

I still have not managed to get him to eat this is what makes me think he was with gizzy when it happened

Thankyou all so much for your kindness and kind words and Mark thanks for the link, what a wonderful idea to make a forever memento in a necklace I have sent the link to my daughter as this is definitely something she will be thinking of when the sad day comes of the dying of her beloved cat who has cancer

He looked so perfect when I found him in a sunbathing position, not a spot of blood to be seen but the 4 inches of his tail missing and a cut into the top of his tail. There was no tyre markings just the tail damage. His little front and back paws were crossed in the same was as when he slept in the sun......................why o why did he have to die

. I just hope he passed quickly. I think you did the right thing letting the others see him - I'm sure they understand.

I hope whoever did it suffers for the rest of their life and beyond.

Today at 10am after searching all morning and calling all night, my beautiful Gizmo was found dead in my neighbours garden. He looked as if he was just asleep until I found some of his tail was missing but no claws were damaged and no other visable signs he had his front and back legs crossed as if sunbathing . I presume it must of been from the scum we heard on quad bikes that were not from this area last night.

I cant imaging life without him as he is my baby I still have him in my arms now.

I cant bare to let him go. I don't know if I did the right thing but I laid him on the floor on his fav blanket so his remaining brother Louis and his Mum Tabitha could say goodbye.

Gizmo you have brought so much love into my life and been such a brave boy when you were in the cage recovering from your infections last month. A part of me has died with you and you will be in my heart forever and always. I'm sorry I have soaked you in tears this morning but I want you now to go to Rainbow bridge with your beautiful brothers Smudge and Pickles and play with all the butterflies there
