Bilbo went through a stage of temper tantrums between 12 and 18 months and used to sit and hiss and growl his way through shows (very unlike him) and at home he'd be a bit of a sod as well. He hit 18 months and he went back to his usual self of being so laid back he's horizontal with his legs in the air at home and at shows. At his first show after he was 18 months old he was so chilled when one lady asked if she could hold him he started washing her face lol.

Bilbo loves his ice blocks when it's hot and he'll usually curl up on a few and let you put some on top of him so he's cooled from both sides. In the car I try and rub water into their coats but it's a nightmare on the NFCs with their coats being waterproof so they usually just have about 6 or 7 ice blocks and their thermostatic fan in the carrier.

Lexy seems to be enjoying a prolonged teenager time. She's 4 so technically not much younger than me at 32, but her mood swings are legendary in this house.

Hannah I have found when its really warm, sprtiz up a kitchen paper towel with cold water, just so its damp and then when Jasper is near for a cuddle just run it up and down him as if you are giving him a nice long scratch. He may enjoy that. Lexy hates anything near her, but when I do that she suddenly realises how fab it feels and the madam purrs like mad. Well for while then she just goes back to ignoring me.

Kev or as my hubby sometimes calls him GITMO  :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh: is nearly 8 he is a spoilt little so and so. I have him to contend with and a teenage daughter, they however never clash I think they conspire together  :evillaugh: :evillaugh: he storms about like a teenager though and when he is feeling unwell as well MOVE OUT THE WAY EVERYONE

mY HUSBAND SAYS WHEN I DARE TO SAY "NO GIZMO THERE ARE 5 DIFFERENT CANS OPEN AND IM NOT OPENING ANOTHER" HE LOOKS AT ME LIKE HE IS READY TO STICK TWO CLAWS UP AT ME  :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

we must both be dreadful mummy's - jasper has the grump with me most of the time!!  and then is all love and purrs and wonderful!!!!!  have to tiptoe round him it seems!!!  seems his happiness at having me home has worn off somewhat!!!

do wonder if he's a bit hot though.   but he wont come near anything to cool him down so not a lot i can do!  oh the stress of being a mummy!!!
