She's coming on leaps and bounds today

She's now asleep next to me on the sofa and has stopped hissing when I give her a head rub. Warning shots were fired and now she's happy to just get on with settling in

No pics yet, she's very much still adjusting and only comes out when I'm doing stuff in the kitchen (she thinks anything kitchen related means she's getting fed, even though she rarely eats what you give her

).

She's getting better though, is venturing out from her hidey spots now and again, forgetting to grumble at me occasionally and let me give her a head rub.

So far so good, pretty quick progress if you ask me! Especially as she's had so much upheaval in her short life, it's to be expected that she'll be wobbly for a while here.

She's here! So far so good. She is understandably grumpy but I got a headbutt on my hand and she has moved from under the sofa to under the kitchen units.

Dave and Chilli couldn't be more relaxed about the whole thing which is most surprising as Chilli usually lets rip verbally with interlopers, I guess she just remembers her

Most of you will remember Little Miss, the black and white cat that moved in with me and then returned to her owners after them trying to catch her for ages (unbeknown to me after trying to trace them).

Well, had a text this afternoon wanting to know if I still wanted her. She was an indoor/outdoor cat although spent most of her time indoors when she was with me and was then moved indoors with a D.O.G. As it's texts I don't know the full story yet but I'm assuming she's just unhappy, she won't let the girl pick her up even though she let me.

So they are coming round this evening and we will see what happens!

Weirdly though, I had a dream the other night that she came back, following Dave through the cat flap with her old collar on and now it has sort of come true!
