Oh can see you will get plenty of photos from her as she appears to love her photo being taken and she is a beauty and so she should.

So pleased for you yeah one of my cats used to do that until he had a 3 day stay in the vets now he is more interested in getting the knot that attaches it to the rod and pulling that   It makes me wonder if that was how he removed the catheter lol.

she's here  :Luv:
And she is fine!  :Luv: She was eating and using the litter tray straight away, and within half an hour she was dragging her new toy mouse around (with the mouse in her mouth and the dangly bit and the stick behind her)

She didnt hide away last night, she was slightly jumpy at times though and was just wandering sniffing and looking around. She came for a stroke but didnt settle on my knee for long, she was too interested in being nosey.
She was mostly jumpy when eating, but she has been with 5 other cats at the foster home, so she prob had to be quick with food and it was like she was expecting someone to come and steal it :(

She was fine overnight too!

Pics will be posted later!!

Hi Lisa, the thing is you never know with cats. I imagine she will feel very cautious and you will have to try not to smother her with love and earn that trust. So take it slow and give her time and  POST PICTURES!!!!!

Hope this afternoon goes well  :Luv:

I'd get the Feliway on the go now as it can take a little while to 'warm up'. I'm so pleased for you  :) Milly is a little stunner  :Luv2:

Hi Lisa it maybe worth plugging it in just before you leave to pick her up so that it is in the house when she arrives and will help her relax more.

Congratulations on your new addition.

Hi all
After devastatingly losing both my elderly girls and 7 miserable cat-less weeks, I am delighted to announce that I will be intoducing a new furry to my little family later today :)

She is called Milly, and is a 12 (ish) month old tabby. She is adorable.

Here is a sneak preview of her (top right)
http://www.stoke.cats.org.uk/index.asp?m=gallery&id=3&p=7

I am picking her up from the fosterer this afternoon. I cant wait!!

I am nervous though.
I am worried that she will feel scared and stressed and I wondered if anyone has any advice on how to make the transition to her forever home as stressless as possible.

I have got her a new bed that I have put in a cosy corner downstairs for her. There are plenty of cosy places that she can go, some high up if she wants to hide for a bit. I have a little blanket for her to snuggle in on my knee/ setttee if she wants. I have plenty of toys for her.
I have a Feliway diffuser - is it worth me plugging that in as soon as she arrives?
