Amber sucks the pillow if I use Olbas Oil so I have to be careful. She also drools and dribbles over mints, drinks camomile and spearmint tea, etc etc  so no not too odd.......well maybe not  :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

If we have anything that is remotely minty, mentholated, clinical smelling (even things like deep heat or TCP!), Rambo goes nuts!

Tiggy was the same, I used to brush my teeth and blow my minty breath in her face to tease her  :evillaugh: She got her own back as one time when I was poorly in bed she licked the Vicks vaporub off my chest

Byron and my first cat Penny loved the smell of Olbas and mint and other herbs in the garden - but if you think about it catmint is a form of mint and many cats love that too  :)

Hi Hun,   and   :welcome:  again!!!

I dont think its wierd at all!
Co-co has a thing for chopped onions!  He knocks himself into me when ever im trying to either peel or chop an onion!!  I allowed him to jump up onto the side once, while i was chopping away.  He could hardly see, as the onion smell was getting to him, but insisted on a closer sniff!!
Neadless to say......... i have to close the kitchen door while i chop onions now!   :evillaugh:

Hi again everyone

Just thought I'd ask about this, because it's quite funny and I don't know if it's just my Rambo being weird, or if all cats are the same.....

If we have anything that is remotely minty, mentholated, clinical smelling (even things like deep heat or TCP!), Rambo goes nuts!  Obviously we don't let him lick anything nasty, but you can tell he would if he was given the chance!  It's all almost like catnip to him!

Is he just an odd-ball?!?!
