Hi all
thanks for asking  :hug: my big boy/girl is doing really well. I do feel quite sad looking at his sticky out toe as it looks unconforatable but he only has a slight limp.

The stitches are all staying in well and he has been such a good boy not touching them at all bless him

He spends so much time with the kittens by his side its so lovely they they seem to know their big bruv is a little poorly and needs comforting  :hug: :hug: :hug:

Thanks all so much for your support with Bella and Thomas it really always does make all the difference knowing you all care so much

Hi all sorry for the delay in replying.   :hug:  :hug:

Well 2 of the vets have had a look at Tom, the second being this morning. We have decided that it would not be very good for him to go through further surgery and it would be better for him to just be left. The damage that was done by the glass was quiye extensive and further surgery would mean opening the whole thing up again.

They suspect the tissue has torn as there was very little to stitch together. He only has a very slight limp and they said he was a very lucky boy/girl he will have to live with a stickyout toe... makes him look kida tough to stop the bullies lmao  :rofl:

He does make me laugh as I let him out for 10 mins 3 times a day and now he must have got a watch from somewhere as he puts himself back in the cage after about 10 mins. Daisy the kitten slept with him last night as she was all cosy tucked up in bed with him so I left her...............hope they were not rude in the night lol  :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

My vets receptionist said as we left "take care and see you soon" I BETTER BLOODY NOT  :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

Hi Liz and all

Thomas is doing ok although I'm a little worried as his two middle toes are sticking out and he doesnt seem to have any feelig in them  :( He has an appointment at the vet Tuesday morning but Im going to try to get them to see him tomorrow

I was able to let him out for a leg stretch for 5 mins today the kittens were so excited and wanted him to run around~ he wanted to too at which point he went back in his little cage.

He is a little unhappy today and just wants a fuss......Im obliging of course. He slept all through the night and woke up very hungry again but as he isnt moviing around he has to have the Hills light because of his weight. Fortunatly he likes it poor little man/lady

He took his meds like a good boy this morning and certainly looked brighter once the Metacam had kicked in. How sweet though as he has recently become good friends with Daisy and Elle the kittens they keep going and sitting by his cage im sure its so he doesnt feel left out love them arent our fur babes just the best

Thomas says thanks for all your kisses and get well messages although he said he would rather Mummy didnt keep kissing him in front o the other guys lol so I have to do it while we are alone  :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

A million thankyou's to you all you certainly ease my stress levels

 ;D ;D So glad that you have had a happy outcome with Thomas' op.  I can empathise totally as my Dillon is crated after his knee surgery on Wednesday. 

Wishing Thomas lots of luck for a speedy recovery - they make so little fuss, and seem to remain good natured whatever life throws as them.

He has the biggest pupils I have ever seen  in my life. He was so pleased to see us he didn't stop howling all the way home lol

They said the op went very well and to obviously keep him quiet and in the cage. I was extremeply shocked that he hasn't made a sound since being in the cage. He went in and started eating his recovery food straight away and needed a pee bless him. He has  a checkup on Tuesday to see how he is getting on


Thankyou all again for all your lovely good wishes and kindness always. It does make me feel better knowing you all know how I feel  :thanks:
