I'm pleased to say that the "witty" comments are far outweighed by the others of outrage.  I live in Nottingham (thankfully not in Sherwood ... I'm a good 20 mins or so away from there) and am sickened to think I share my city with idiots like that  not to mention the sicko that carried out these barbaric attacks.

Oh god I feel sick what evil scum, words fail me. I also noted the idiotic comments below, what a terrible sick world we live in,I cant imagine what the owner must be going through :(

How sad and sickening poor poor babies  :'(

How horrible that those "people" who are commenting think its funny to make sick jokes - is this really what society has reduced itself too? Barely any nice compassionate comments so how many people out there just don't care?

As i've said many times before, i'm with you Mark. The scum on this planet are reproducing out of control, not long until decent people are well outnumbered. Those of us who are out there having jobs and pets and living sensible lives rather than living off benefits and reproducing endlessly.

Oops went off on a tangent, just feel angry now!  >:(

RIP poor babies, feel so sorry for their owner  :'(

i agree with bringing the death penalty back and would volunteer for gallows duty, those poor babies must have been so terrified before they died, , :RIP: little ones, no-one can ever hurt you again :candle:

Its beyond comprehension and I'm crying for those two lovely cats - they were 14 and 17 years old - the act itself is so appalling, but I just imagine the terrible fear they must have felt before it happened - I can't get that out of my mind.  :'(

I wish I'd never read the comments though, even the rspb website says that birds caught by cats would probably have died anyway

We live in a sick country run by idiots. It's about time they got tough and brought the gallows back - I know some don't agree but we really need a cull of the scum of "society"  >:(
