Milbemax is easier! No need for Dairylea. I will tell my friend about the Dairylea trick though, because it sounds like she could use that!

Oh yes, that reminds me - that's what my friend told me! She said it was horrific - as if it felt like they tried to suffocate the poor thing, what with the foaming at the mouth. Ugh.

I would never use Drontal again - apart from the size, there is the foaming at the mouth

That is right Mark, and they are much smaller than Drontal. My friend told me they have such struggle each time they're about to de-worm their persian with Drontal.

We found it quite easy to pop the pill in Jamesons mouth. OH holds his mouth open, and I pop the pill in and tap the back of Jamesons mouth for him to automatically swallow. We also then give him a treat afterwards to encourage some more swallowing to ensure the pill really goes all the way down; usually a nice prawn or two.

It's a wormer but much smaller than Drontal. A lot of cats (apparently) will eat it like a treat as it has a beef flavour coating. As they are small, they are easy to hide otherwise. They are meant to be the best wormer. AFAIK, they treat all worms.
