hi im sorry about star
i pay a friend to come and stay at my house while i am away so all pets happier in own environment, if not a friend maybe a trustworthy housesitter especially after losing their friend home would be lot less distressing for twinkle if possible that is

Some pet sitting companies offer cat care in a sitters home, its more common for dogs tho. TBH she would probably have more company in the cattery compared to a sitter comming in to your home twice a day which is the other option you have. You can also get live in sitters although not sure how much this costs!

Hi everyone,

As you proberbly know Star went to the bridge last week  :'( and we only have Twinkle left now, she is still pining for Star and needing loads of cuddles and attention :Luv2:

We are going to Lanzarote in 3 weeks time 20/7/08 and we had booked Twinkle and Star into a boarding kennels, they would of been sharing a pen/run and I was okay about this until Star died, I'm feeling really bad about sending Twinkle on her own, could anyone suggest anywhere that keeps the cats inside in a home environment (home cattery), she is very sociable and loves other cats and dogs so I feel she would be better in this kind of environment rather than in a pen/run on her own, I live near Dewsbury west Yorkshire so if anyone knows anywhere could they please post or contact me asap,

Thanks Gail and Twinkle xxx
