Why oh why do people always want little kittens!! Don't they realise the hassle they are taking on? Yes, kittens are cute.....but they become CATS very quickly and stay that way for 15+ years, if they're lucky. I've had so many people ringing me for kittens when I only have tamed young feral...I could scream!!!! One day I'll swear at someone who asks "have you got any kittens for sale"......"No I  :censored: haven't. I don't sell cats, you adopt them for a donation and they are young adults, so  :censored: off!!!!"

 :welcome: back HK  ;D

Cats were once gods; they have never forgotten this, nor have the people they own.

Hello there..

If you check out our website and give me a ring on the rehoming line then we can have a chat!! Have you been homechecked by another rescue at all?

Also you may wish to check out those lovely two white babes on the site who are looking for a home, based in E London i think. About the same distance from you i would say..
Good on you to keep trying..>!!

Canterbury Cats,

Would you consider rehoming some of your cats to Portsmouth? I'd be especially interested in giving spray and fizz (poor babes!) a home.
We've both been let down by others (see my last post in Rehoming board  >:(), so we can bring hope to each other  ;D

If so, let me know a bit more about them and your telephone number so I can arrange to come and see them (70 odd miles is nothing to me, I drive the M25 a lot to see family!). There are a few details about me in the 'looking to adopt' section.

I don't overlook older cats for kittens, every single cat has something to give in this world.....  :Luv2:

That was one of 3 (that I know of) things that Sharon had yesterday.

One was a cat that was thrown from a car  >:( - luckily the cat is OK and Sharon is sorting a space out  :Luv2:
Another was a message about an 11 year old cat attacking a couple's 2 year old. By the time Sharon called them back, they had already taken the cat to the vet for PTS  >:( - again, luckily the vet called Sharon and this one is also now safe. It never ends. There are just so many idiots out there.

I had a lady on my rehoming books for a few weeks, looking for 2 adult cats (not kittens).. She has rung me every fe days and now we have 2 lovely cats Spray and Fizz that would suit the bill. both females all MOTed etc..

So what does she tell me.. Over the weekend she picked up a 6wk old kitten and now wants a adult cat or kitten as a playmate.. ! Baring in mind that she is out at work all day.. The kitten came from a Thanet breeder, the mum being young and no one saw the dad..

I told her that 6wks (in fact only just 6wks) is far to young to be away from the mum, she was the runt of the litter apparently.... And that getting an adult cat now wouldnt be a good idea until the little one grows abit... I also told her to make sure the little one is fully vac and also that she should make sure puss has a good diet etc and builts up abit..

Of course she isnt going to take any notice of me.. But how can anyone be so ignorant she had no idea apparently, just couldnt be bothered to wait.. And i will now not rehome any cat to her no matter what...

Poor mite should still be with siblings.. not on her own...

Fuming!
