Think its only but right i also post my two handsome greyhounds.

Jake my big fawn muscley lad

I first got jake who was everything to me and very sensitive, he was so tuned into me but afraid of my husband which we could never work out as altho he'd been a racing boy he had never known abuse as his breeder/owner is a lovely caring man who adores his dogs and does not do it for the money but puts it all back into saving and rescuing other greys from less worthy human beings,

Jake was only with me for a year before a terrible and horrific RTA took his life from me.? Ive never felt such gut wrenching heart ache in all my life as i honestly felt my heart rip in two..Again like my soots i will never ever meet another dog quite like jake and i do honestly believe he was my angel sent from heaven to help me through a difficult time in my life.

Jake,? I am sooooo sorry and will carry the burden of guilt for eternity.

Your never far from my thoughts XXX

Have fun running on the bridge, you did so love to run & i still keep your toy bunny safe and sound

ARCHIE my stunning white & fawn boy.

Was Jakes full brother from the same litter, He was a big bold dog hence his full name archie the bold.? His owner (jakes owner too) never thought he'd be rehomed as he was a very dominant dog and top of the kennels, hence a couple of other dogs on the recieving end of his reign !!? Also i dont think they actually wanted to rehome him as they loved him so much and he was devoted to his owner but with so many older retired greys in their house they had to keep him in the kennels where he was very happy, on the days following my loss of jake my husband drove me down to edinburgh to see the previous owner as i wanted to be in the place where jake came from to feel closer to him, due to my extraordinary grief and obvious state of ill health because of it they gave me archie to take home even if it were to get me through the next couple of weeks (they didnt really think he'd take to a home life)

archie accompnied us home and waltz into my home as if he'd been there all his life, he was also in love with my husband which was great for him as jake never took to him, he had a passion for chocolate and was once caught balancing on the back of a sofa to reach unopened easter eggs at the top of a living room unit, Like jake he accompnied me to work every day and was fine with other dogs outside the kennel enviiroment altho should any growl archie stood his ground and made no pretence of the fact he could make mince meat of them had he wanted, this included bull terriers and a rottwieler - all backing down at archies stance and deep grumbly growl.

Archie also had a great passion for children even tho he'd never grown up with kids and once pulled a junior nurse off her feet and dragged accross the road to get to kids at the other side (she was only about the same weight as the dog so that wasnt a big problem for him LOL)

after having archie for about 2 years he become desparately ill very quickly and we rushed him down to the dick vet uni in edinburgh where aggesive intestinal cancer was diagnoses.? I PTS my boy at home in april 2000 and my hubby got an emergency flight back from offshore to have a couple of days with him too..He is a very missed boy and our biggest regret is he didnt make to meet our son who hadnt been born ... he would have doted on our son as carer and protector

Have fun with your brother archie !
