Liz I am so sorry,

Sailor make friends with the rest of the clan and my Spike, Milly and Cleo.

A soft full tail, exquisite eyes,
soft purring at the door,
playful swatting, frequent naps,
toys strewn across the floor.

With gentle rubs and playful purring
you made your presence known
and, knowing you were always there,
we never felt alone.

You loved it when we scratched your ears,
we swear it made you smile.
We could never stay angry with you,
we couldn’t if we tried.

The soft sweet purring now has ceased,
no gentle rubs to greet us,
just memories of a special friend
and good times are all we see.

Although we miss you dearly,
we’ll try not to feel so blue,
because we know that there’s a bridge
for special cats like you.

Rest in peace  Sailor       :RIP:

Sailor died in my arms at the vet this morning at 09.27am.  He was in an oxygen tent for most of the night and our wonderful vets did all they could but sadly the call from the bridge was to strong for our darling feral boy.

He leaves behind devestated parents in Robin and I, his full sisiter Amber one of our naughty torties and the other 41 Clan Cats and the 3 dogs

He will be cremated this week and will hopefully be home at the weekend.

He joins Toerag, Haggis, Moose, Hissy Holly - his best friend, Breeze, Bert, Gracie, Gem, Star, Cairo and Shanghai all waiting to welcome him to the Bridge Clan

He will get a fitting tribute once I have less tears :( :(

Sailor is a Cat Flu carrier and has always been a snotty cat - fortunately the rest of the Clan haven't caught it apart from the stress induced bought nearly 3 years ago when we moved house and had the mass escape - 30 from 37 left the building on our house move - led by the late Tiger took us nearly 6 months to get them home - Sailor never left that day!
