Aww shame I never got to meet Tom but I am glad he is settling in well  :)

Have spoken to my friend tonight, he is doing really really well, he sits on her knee sometimes, purrs all the time, and is really really soft. HE hasn't sprayed, hasn't done anything destructive in the house and no health issues. wisely, he isn't going out much at the moment!! So, I was right that he just needed to be an only cat, and it is just a shame he had to wait 14.5 months for it - but, at least we were willing to give him that time till the right home came, he is another one who is lucky to be alive.
