Such a pair of cuties! My Mum can work technology but doesn't really like it - my brother and I used to play a cruel game. Text Mum, see how long before she notices, points to win! :evillaugh: Luckily my lovely Mum has a great sense of humour and cheerful accepts her unmerciful teasing!

Awww! There is something appealing about a 3-legged cat!

Both are really sweet!!   :Luv:  :Luv:  :Luv:
For a man to truly understand rejection, he must first be ignored by a cat.

Dogs believe they are human. Cats believe they are God.

No amount of time can erase the memory of a good cat, and no amount of masking tape can ever totally remove his fur from your couch.

Wonderful cats  ;D

Now my mother is 83 and cant use a computer much but my sister set her up with one in her bedroom and she plays all kinds of games in Pogo and is a member who must have all the badges

Now if she can do that , I am sure for someone who loves cats Purrs would be a doddle. Just show her how to switch on, get to Purrs and navigate her round the site and once she sees all the posts and pictures and lovely stuff, well addiction will set in  ;D

Yet she can use her phone 2 txt?? ( like a bat out of hell ) :wow:

There you go... I am a hopeless mobile-phobic!!  My partner is an IT man and trained me pretty well on puters, but mobile...  he bought me one 4 years ago, I had to struggle for like half an hour every time I had to sms a simplest one liner, and I just gave it up and my telephone has been dead for at least 2 years...   :-:

So... tell her that PC is much easier to learn than a mobile, if I can do it surely she can!! ;D

Stu, I was once like your mum... just get her to sit down and show her how little it takes to navigate through a forum, pretty soon you will have a hard time get her away from the PC!!  :evillaugh:

Thanks for sharing the pics of Korky and Socks... they are both gorgeous!! ;D

Both gorgeous - how can you not fall in love with a 3 legged cat?  :Luv:
DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

At least your mum Tries !! My mum doesn't even look at it !! She just moans, " that's another thing I have to Dust "
:wow:"That toolbar thingy is missing again"

My mum is member "buttercup" (unborn kitten no posts) and likes to think she's pc literate but I constantly get the calls of:
"do you have a minute.. that toolbar thingy is missing again"

Hi folks, I made a Special Guest Appearance at my Mother's last night, telling Her about Purr's
and trying to get her to Join, Unfortunately she is Computer illiterate, so I would't hold your
breath ;)

I was also corrected about Kirstys age when she passed with CRF, She was 15yrs old ,not 13
I took a couple of photos of Her Furbabe "Korky" He's about 4 yrs old now (He has a cheeky character and is full of Beenz) ;D

Got a Photo of " Socks" too, She stays a few houses away, I'd say she's about 8 now ( very Adorable  :Luv:)
I recall when we first started to see Socks, we thought She was being Illtreated, Cause as She Grew she started to limp
and we thought the owners were being cruel to her?? But a couple of months went by without seeing her, and when
she appeared again, " She only had 3 legs ?? "
I asked her owners one day what happened, and they said Socks had a Deformed Joint that would never fix, Hence 3 Legs..
It has never slowed her down any, and she's a real Scrapper !! although for some reason her right ear has got quite a few
tears in it..
I suppose She can't Protect Herself the same with only 3 legs  :P
