A skin reaction would be the most likely thing to happen if something was to go wrong. So dont worry!

you should be fine, I've heard of problems with washing powder don't know about plants I think you can get a list off the FAB website - I won't be around on Saturday or Sunday, I'd love to hear all the news!

That's what I wash all my cats stuff in as well and it's never caused a problem.

I think Yuccas are ok although I don't know if some types are ok and others not. I think some cat foods even put yucca in as an ingredient and it never did Suzy (one of my childhood cats) any harm as she managed to eat a whole yucca plant that sat on top of the microwave over a number of years.

Washing detergant & Plants
« Reply #1 on: September 20, 2007, 16:18:33 PM »
Bit of a strange one.. I bought Leo a few fleeces' & they smelt awful so I washed them ready for saturday to put 1 in his carrier. As soon as I got it out the washer I realised that the detergant smell may be toxic ? I use bold 2 in 1 & as there isnt enough sofntner I also use Lanor sleep easy softner.. will this be OK ? I dont want him to get ill before I even get him home !!!

Also I have 2 Yucca plants in the flat.. I know some plants are toxic to puddy's I have checked online & as far as I can see Yucca plants are fine but just wanted to check with you guys as I can trust you !

There will probably be another 100 urgent questions before Leo's collection on saturday - I hope you don't mind - I just want everythng to be purfect !

Thanks - (Again!!)  :)
