well . i hae just applied for anouther show today . mi hubby ses i am now an official CAT-FREAK  :evillaugh: ( thats my nickname at home )

Lara is a real cuddlebum - will post some photos of her later. Was a real privilege to handle her on her big day.  :Luv:

Oh yes, I'm known as "cat freak" by my friends as well.  :evillaugh:  I went to the TICA show yesterday purely because I was suffering from show withdrawal symptoms...  How sad is that?  :evillaugh:  :evillaugh:  :evillaugh:

Cool, well done Luna!  :1st place:  :cheer:

You're right Sasha, sometimes it is more satisfying to place well in a really tough class than to win an easy class. If Luna's that relaxed and doing so well now, it really does bode well for the future.  :yesss: And it's always lovely to get good feedback from the judge.

Showing is very addictive, isn't it Sasha?  :evillaugh:

I've just come back from the TICA show in Maidstone where I was handling a friend's choccy Burmese - and I ain't half whacked. Brilliant day made even better by the fact that Lara (Teapot Laratee) has become the first Burmese in the UK to attain the title of TICA Supreme Grand Alter.

Wow, she'll go grand in no time at all. Well done Luna, and well done you CC for managing to get to the show at all - I remember back in the good old days when I could do that sort of thing. Now, they would find me slumped unconscious under the cat cages shortly before judging commenced .........................

luna went to the wyvern show today she came 2nd in her kitten class  :wow:  it was a very big class and she was against colourpoints so she did very well

i spoke to the judge after and she was very impressed with her she said that she has a excellent face and a lovely ruff and big body and her mitts are perfect  , she said she is exceptional for her age of 5 month and that the one that got 1st place won as she was 8 month and 2 wk and obviously bigger and just qualified for the kittenclass  . even though luna got 1st in her open at teeside i am more pleased with the second today as the class and  competition was very high

she also got 2nd in the ragdoll kitten side class the 1st went to a 8 month male and the class was large in that one

luna seems to lap up the attention
everyone was lovely and i met breeders i will be attending the oct seminar with
i think i have the bug ,
 :evillaugh:

im off to bed now as i woked in the bar in town last night 7pm till 3am then had to go to show at 6am so only got 2 hours sleep last night  :tired:
