Unfortunately his lovely long haired coat is putting people off!
Well i think they dont deserve him cos they are lazy to brush a long hair cat, his coat looks so silky and once a week brush should be fine, i love long hairs and if my Phoebe was to accept him and he was over 10 years old i would take him.
He is gorgeous.

Otis.. needs confidence building but huge potential. CP Canterbury Kent

This is lovely Otis.  Otis is in the care of Canterbury & District CP, Kent.. We are looking for someone who is perhaps an experienced cat owner who is willing to spend a bit of time with this lovely puss.

Otis was found wondering around lost and lonely before he befriended one of our foster"s who took him in to the vets.

His coat was in quite bad condition and he was covered in flea and very frightened.  He has had a full check from the vet and been treated  for his flea problem and is well on his way to being the very handsome chap we know he is going to be.

Otis has a lovely soft and loving nature he likes nothing better than to sit and be stroked and return any affection that you give him. He is still a little shy but in the right home he will settle down very soon and become a much loved member of the family. He does seek out human companionship and makes abit of noise when left on his own, so ideally we would like him to go to a home where you are home the majority or part of the day.

Because he is still shy and lacks confidence we would like to rehome him without very young children....

His long haired coat doesnt need to much attention but a weekly brush would help to keep it in tip top condition, however Otis is at the moment abit unsure of being brushed so any new owner would have to be patient with him.

He does not seem to mind being stroked and  handled. The vets put Otis as being between 2 and 3yr of age.

Otis doesn"t seem to mind other cats too much but we don"t know about dogs.

Otis has has started on his vac course, neutered and chipped!

As part of CP policy a homecheck will be required and if you are out of the area then we will need the co operation of a local CP branch or other rescue to do this. Donations appreciated to all us to continue our work, as sadly rescue is an expensive business.

For details about contacting me pls check out our website www.canterbury.cats.org.uk under the contact us tab!
