You wait for cute kittens, then all of sudden you take 9 in!
I am currently fostering these 3 adorable ones who came in with mum yesterday via a community animal welfare and education day.
Mum is waiting to be spayed, then the family who found her in their garden have offered her a home. Her babies were found sheltering under an old settee in the garden by their son, hence the names are all furniture-related. Welcome Parker (Knoll) (thanks Angie), Chester(field) and Sof(i)a. We think they are 7 weeks old.
Poor Angie went out with Judith to pick up another stray mum and 4 kittens last night we were asked to help at the same event. She had given birth in a rather ramshackled garage. Her babies are only a few days old, and she was rather protective so Angie returned, trap in hand, to get mum and babies. However, it turns out she has 6! All safe with Angie in her cat room now, well done Angie!
I`m sure Angie will post some of hers in due course, so to whet your whistles . . .
