Just to let you all know, that Lucy's horrific knife injuries healed up after her second operation. She has also found a new forever home

Now the rescue has had one of the kittens from a litter born at the rescue diagnosed as special needs. A little male black kitten aged 11 weeks called Simon. Sounds like he may be a CH kitten so will need a very special home. When I have further info I will create a new thread.

Little Lucy came into my local independent rescue as an emergency case. She had severe wounds on her body which the vet likened to "someone trying to skin a cat"

She recently went back to the vets for a further operation on the wounds. Here she is on their web-site,

Hoping that the second operation works for little Lucy and it won't be long before her new forever home is found.
