No wonder, you've provided him with a very  convenient bridge to the tv  :evillaugh:

Yes!

Howie loves Meerkat Manor and anything with big cats.
Willow loves One Man and his Dog (Sheep Dog program).

Mosi likes watching football.  He follows the ball with his paw.

Ours don't really watch TV, Milo has on an odd occasion sat in front of the TV when the football is on and tried to bat the ball  Hubby wasn't impressed when he had his paws right on the screen though  :shify:

Mine take more notice of when the dvd player is on idle, the image bounces round the screen like the old tennis games!  :naughty:

We never watch tv in our house (not since Virgin Media took away my cookery channel - boo!  :P ) but we had it on once, the first time Pepsi had seen it in our house. She stalked on her belly along the floor, and jumped up trying to catch a woman's hair blowing in the wind  :)

Baggy took the words out of my mouth. Our two are very keen on a game of snooker on the telly and will try to 'catch' the balls as they fall down the pocket.  :evillaugh:

One of my parents' cats used to watch snooker on tv and would look to the floor when a ball disappeared into a pocket :evillaugh:

Tachi and Vader don;t at all, however Akamaru is often glued to the TV. He loves watching the cursor move on the computer too.

Definately down to upbringing, Tachi and Vader spent their time in a cat pen when they were here, their only entertainment classical fm, Akarmaru on the other hand spent his young days in the living room watching TV and reading about himself on the laptop, sad but true

Amber used to watch TV until I was watching a nature program where she really wanted the little birdie and then they did an clos eup of a huge hawk and she changed her mind.
My parents collie hates one man and his dog and gets quite unhappy if they watch it. Then again she was a rescue dog because the farmer threw her out for being useless  :(

Funny you should start this thread ... Yesterday I was watching the National Sheepdog trials. Memphis caught a glimse of it and ended up watching most of it, he was totally hooked. Whereas Molly (my BC from working parents) was zoinked out upside down. It's the stand in joke as she always falls asleep during sheepdog trials  :evillaugh:

Generally though Memphis isn't a tv watcher - he was even asleep during Bill Baileys bird watching bonanza!

Whenever my cat, George, catches sight of the TV, particularly when the program is about meerkats, he becomes absolutely enthralled. His head will tilt and turn following the movement on screen, and he's even jumped up onto the cabinet beside the TV once and looked behind it as if to try and find the meerkats inside it. He's also pawed at the screen before as if he doesn't understand that they're flat  ;D

Does anyone else have a similar story?
Someone say cat blog?
