We've had an article in the local paper tonight as well about how rescues are struggling so fingers crossed things may start to look up.

There was a bit in the Express yesterday too which was good as it was saying how we are all struggling to find new homes for cats at the moment. Hopefully as Sooty says we will get the ripple effect.

They are virtually identical!

Most of the nationals normally focus on dogs needing homes so it was lovely to see the cats taking centre stage and hopefully this will see an increase in rehoming at Battersea that will ripple out to the rest of the country.

Please consider the harder to home cats in rescue.

He is lovely. Lester is one of the lucky ones as cats that get in papers have no shortage of people wanting them.
