Gillian Amber was in about a month ago with a problem with her tongue - the vet was all for sending off a biopsy etc but I asked if we could try ab's first because I was convinced she had bitten her tongue - she went back last monday and the vet by her own admission was amazed that you couldn't even tell where the cut had been - my point is the vet may be over reacting

She's a seal point - just that bit darker than choccie point.

Ah, Summer is a seal tortie point!  Anyway she's beautiful.  Know exactly why you are a rubbish foster

I was sooooo tempted to keep the two I was fostering but unfortunately circumstances made it impossible.  But ..........., New Year - anything could happen

Oh bless her she does look at bit shell shocked.

btw in that pic she looks just like my Bridge Babe Sasha.  Is she a healthyfood point?

Shell shocked - yes thats exactly how she looked! She's a bit more with it now though I think. She's a seal point - just that bit darker than choccie point.

it will take longer cos of the three Bank Holidays!!

Ah, yes of course.

Fingers crossed it is nothing

I had a lump in my mouth once which was sent off for biopsy and it was just a saliva gland.

Well she's home and seems quite bright - and she's just eaten her tea so she seems fine in herself - and very pleased to be  back in her 'safe' familiar room! Amazing really, considering 3 extractions plus a slice out of her tongue

The tests take about 10 days - maybe longer this time of year vet says, dunno why, as they fax the results through.

The bill  :omg: :omg: :omg: £295!!!  - I'd only just cleared my vet account too  :(

Edited - just took this pic - she's been sat like that for the past hour - looks a bit spaced out to me LOL! I'm very pleased though, I made that bed specially for her return  :Luv:

Don't know - I forgot to ask when vet phoned - but I'll find out when I go to pick her up later.

Vets just phoned - Baby's had to have 3 extractions  :omg: . Rather more worrying is vet found a lump under her tongue which she believes is a tumour, she's going to remove it and send it off for tests. Wasnt expecting anything like that  :scared:

Fingers crossed you didn't have a bad night with her!! When Tiger went for her x-rays, she came back minus a tooth, cos they ended up having to anaesthetise her, so she had a scale and polish too - I was pleased, it ended up cheaper than a normal dental!

Hopefully they look worse than they are. I thought (and still do) that Alice's teeth look pretty ropey but 2 vets have insisted they are fine - she just doesn't have perfect nashers like Kylie  :evillaugh:

Some peeps just have dentals for cosmetic clean and polish......those atre the things insurances wont pay for cos no medical reason.

No point having nice shiny teeth if they are loose and rotten! Milly went for a scale and polish and had one out as wasnt much good, would be silly for me to have kept it in there lol

However they will pay if its part of a medical procedure like it was for Franta and Ducha.

My vets dental consent asks if they find teeth that need to come out do i mind if they remove them  apparently they had people who didnt want teeth removed and got angry :-: to me thats what a dental is - removing whats naff.

Good luck for Baby with the dental tomorrow.  How is she getting on Gillian?  Have you introduced her to any of your brood?

Nope, not yet, she's still got to have her second vac - in a weeks' time, so I'm leaving it till then (putting off the evil moment really  :evillaugh: ) She's very settled even though every time I go into her room I seem to be giving her a pill!

Best wishes baby, fingers crossed she doesnt need too many pulled, magoo managed to keep his much to my surprise as they looked terrible!
Special chicken tea on order for tomorrow

Oh thats good,  hopefully she won't need any pulled then - yes chicken for tea, if I remember  :evillaugh:
