Hi everyone,
Those of you who subscribe to AOL cannot have failed to notice the 'WWF Adopt a Tiger' (while you still can) clip that is playing over and over again on their Home Page. It is compelling viewing.
I have lots of adopted animals but have always chosen to donate as and when to the funds dedicated to saving tigers but tonight I have rectified that and adopted a magnificent tiger.
I would like to share this tiger with the rest of Purrs and give her to the site as a sort of wild mascot (I know our beautiful little Minimopsical is our real feline mascot but this one will represent the wild animals who are under threat).
When I receive all the news on her I shall share it with you and of course, if anyone else would like to support the WWF campaign and adopt her as well, then this would be wonderful. It is estimated that a mere 4,000 tigers remain in the wild....and these are under constant threat of death. Moreover that figure is almost too low to recover. But anything we can do will help to keep them protected.
For anyone who hasn't seen this advertisement here is the link to the WWF.

What do ya think?
Either way I intend to share all the news with you all and hope that you too will look forward to hearing about this beautiful animal.
Lots of love
Roz
