Amber does this normally when I have a cup of coffee in my hand. In fact I was being naughty and drinking coffee whilst typing about 5 minutes ago and she decided she had to get on my knee and headbut me. Now Ive finished the coffee shes gone.
Mogs on the other hand likes to rub her head under my chin as though Im scent marking her  :shocked:

Zephyr does it to me every morning and when I get home from work (if I don't oblidge and bend down so he can headbutt me he stands up on his back legs and tries to reach up to me)  :Luv2: :Luv2:

My kittens do this to me in the morning and when i get in from work - i didn't realise that they were scent marking me! lol
they are both very affectionate  :)

Yes! Jameson loves rubbing his head against my hands, but with a slightly open mouth so my hands get wet with his dribble... aww. He likes to finish off with a loving nip too!  :Luv:

I get loads of rubs and headbutts from my Ragdolls.

Elle also likes to try and bite my feet.

Oh yes, Max always greets me like this first thing in the morning, and when I get in from work too, he'll jump straight on my lap and we'll have lots of headbutts and cheek rubs etc, I love it  :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:

Oh yes , the birmans are good at this but the trouble is I have to be careful cos they like to finish with a bite  :shify:

Misa is a rubber and butter too and at least I can trust him  ;D

Yep and mine nip my nose as well.....I know it's only thier way of showing affection but i've already had my nose pierced once  :evillaugh:

Koscha used to climb on my lap and place her front paws either side of my head, administer furry head butts and go to sleep like a baby cradled in my arms :Luv:

Z does much the same but with both paws to one side.

The kitten insists on scent marking me!

Asha keeps climbing up my chest and rubbing her cheeks against either side of my nose and chin. She's very forceful and puts her full body weight and 100% effort into getting past my hands if I attempt to block her; climbing up again straight away if I put her down and crying if I don't let her. She usually does it first thing in the morning before I get up and when I get in from work, her way of renewing our acquaintance and marking me as her own  :Luv2:  I end up giving in and jut out my chin for her to rub against to her hearts content while she purrs like a motor boat  :rofl:

Anyone else's cat do this?
