Are they all neutered?

An unneutered male may be very dominant, especially to a new cat.
Look at the Wizz site for more info about aggression between cats. There's probably a way round this. Don't think about rehoming yet.
Cats were once gods; they have never forgotten this, nor have the people they own.

poor Delphi, maybe Bertie is finding his feet (what age do they become mature??)  I'm sure when she is feeling better she won't be such target, perhaps she needs a bit more time on her own to get her strength back

Oh dear!! Maybe it was the shock fo the tactical assault! Give her lots of cuddles and when you let her out next make sure Bertie isnt in the immediate vicinity! ;)

Thanks.

I tried getting her back with the others, but as she walked out of my bedroom, Bertie one of the other ragdolls attacked her and she ran back in and then did a number 2 on the carpet.

I dont know what to do.

Hi all.

Delphi appears much better.

She is enjoying a good fuss again and is eating all her food in one sitting.

To be honest she has never done that since I rescued her.

She seems much more lively.

many thanks for all youre kindness.

Vet has asked me to separate her and keep an eye on her input/output as its impossible with all 5 together.

She is on antibiotics (synulox).

The vet couldnt find anything specifi wrong with her, just the pale gums and weight loss.

When we got back from the vets, I put her in my bedroom alone and she allowed me to make a fuss of her and purred for the first time in days.

I really hope it isnt down to her feeling depressed because of the others. I only rescued her in Febuary and she seemed ok with the other cats after a few weeks laying next to them on my bed. If she is unhappy because of the other cats I guess I have to consider her needs and think about what to do.

Took Delphi to the vets today.

She has been sitting behind one of the cat trees for the last 4 days. She hasn't wanted a fuss growling when stroked.

Just knew there was something wrong.

She has pale gums and has lost a little bit of weight.

Hope its something that can be sorted.

Either that or wonder if something has happened between her and the others to cause her to become depressed and withdrawn.

Please send her healing hugs and puirrs.
