Hi Desley
I cannot say i blame them having to deal with a poorly cat for so long, i suppose its a relief taking on two  healthy ones with no baggage. We would of found it very diff to rehome Jesiri and all this physical problems (that you wouldnt notice other then his tail missing) but you never know what the future hold for  him. He will have to go back for an op to fix his jaw sometime this year but the moment he is enjoying life.

They have helped loads of cats since being fosterers last year they ended up with the majority of the ones that were really poorly (Baz, Solomon to name a few ) so perhaps i can forgive him!

Wonderful pics, and I can understand your feelings about your brother, but at least keeping these two wont stop him being able to foster in the pen.
Please spay your cat

These were taken a few days ago. Shrimp is being spayed on Friday and along with Rosina the Tortie girl go to new homes on Tues next week.

Rio and Drake (well i think it was Drake!) are exceptionally lucky kittens as following the loss of Gizzy the elderly puss who suffered fits, the fosterers (my Bruv) are keeping these two. They will be playmates for young Jesiri who is also a very lucky puss. That puts them up to four cats which is our family is the most ever!! They will of course continue to foster in the pen. Anyone who has been to my home will realise that this is a great place for a cat to grow up in, having had Gizzy and all his troubles for the last 8 or 9 years and always taking on older cats they succumbed to kitten charms.. Having taken on Jesiri and his problems perhaps in the future, i cannot blame them for taking on two kittens that are healthy and happy, but equally a llittle bit sad that if they had a two spaces in their home for another two cats they could on a rescued pair, but then never mind.. Jesiri was saved by them so I thinkthey have done their bit (and continue to do) for rescue...
