You need to get him used to complete kitten meat, beef is tasty but no good if they refuse to only eat that!
I give 6 small meals at that age probably equals 1/4 pouch (pouch being 100g).

we get ours started on the whiskas kitten loaf as we can mix water into it to make it a paste which can be a bit easier for them at such a young age.  I don't know about weight but generally speaking no more than 1- 2 tea spoons ful at a time (depending on how you load the spoon and the size of the kitten).

weaning kitten, amount of food?

I keep getting conflicting advice.  Our 5 week old kitten is happily taking solids and still on his KRM milk but we are unsure how much to be giving him and what to move him onto in the coming weeks. At the moment we are giving him 3 thumbnails of cooked beef at morning, noon and early evening and then 4/5 other meals with KMR milk

Can anyone please advise on weight of food you should give a growing kitten?

thanks x
