She eats ANYTHING!!

  They really can be wee terrors, can't they? I'm definately going to have to teach her to be a bit better behaved and more ladylike - if only for her own good, so she doesn't eat something she shouldn't!

my mother's siamese, Natasha Katarina, would eat anything she saw you eating. If she was particularly keen on it (like chicken) she would prise your mouth open and eat it from your mouth. Not a behaviour I would encourage, but it kept mum amused ...

My Shanti used to be a demon for stealing food - right off your plate!  But I don't think it's very polite to keep doing that or begging, so I've had to teach her some manners - she certainly knows what 'no' means!  Mostly now, she's very good, and sits quietly whilst you eat until you've finished and put your knife and fork together.  Then she knows she's allowed to help herself!  So sometimes I might 'accidentally' leave a morsel or two if I think it's suitable.  Garlic, onions, mushrooms, chilli, and anything else I think is a bit dodgy for her gets rinsed right off the plate straight away, though.

She's still a bit of a devil about it, though!  She still tries to find new ways to grab something if she thinks she can get away with it!  At the moment, her tactic is to become uber affectionate, giving me huge head butts and purring like a tractor, and once she thinks I've dropped my guard, out shoots that paw!!    Once she draped herself next to me, very casual-like, draped her paw very nonchalantly close to my plate, then suddenly grabbed a (mostly uneaten) pork chop off my plate and ran off with it!

Yes my little man likes anything & everything ! Tonight i was munching on some spicy BBQ crackers & I came in from kitchen to his head in the bag !

He honestly (given the chance) will eat anything !

Xanthe will try to lick out any plate left unattended - she went mad for pesto last night - I guess the parmesan but she hoovered up bits of basil too!

Taz is like that, i dont think he has any taste buds   We have to watch all plates when hes about which is most of the time

Mr George is exactly the same, will eat anything he can get his grubby paws on.  Mushrooms are a particular favourite of his, including cheese, croissants, crusty bread, twiglets, red & green peppers, marmite on toast.  The list pretty much goes on and on, and he will at least tryanything that you happen to drop accidently.  he will pounch on it like he hasnt been fed in a month, and then scarper off so you cant catch him

He even robbed half a Smacko out of my mum's dogs mouth, when she came round to visit!

  Aww - how can you deny such a muchable tum like Oliver's? We've also discovered (this lunchtime) that pasta and noodles are also very popular with her - where will it end?

heh heh, I see Skye is just a foodie as me Oliver!!   He is also a walking hoover and he loves great variety of delicacies... he is also fond of sauteed mushrooms but I hear many cats do indeed mushrooms.  He particularly liked them with onion but I have read in several sources that onions are highly harmful to cats even cooked, so I have to pick them out carefully now.
He likes some veggies like brussel sprouts (Lucy, ignore this lol) and broccoli, but I imagine he just swallows them together with all the cheese and cream (which he def. loves) that cover the veggies.
Sometimes we have breakfast in bed and he always joins us, and the fun begins.  Cris pushes him away from the tray, then he comes around on the other side, by me (who would never push him away), and far away from Cris.  Then he will lay nicely for a few seconds, then inch by inch start sneakily crawling towards the tray as if he thinks this way he won't be noticed   Usually his effort is awarded by a drop of nutella, jam or custard oozed out from croissant or toast, or a little nibble of a cake.
Just the other day he was caught redhanded on the table munching away on our panettone (Italian chrissy cake) just after we finished our brekky and we were off the table just for about 15 seconds
We keep saying we need to start on him a bit of diet as he is getting awfully big, but it is just oh so hard to deny a growing boy full of appetite!!

Our baby Sky-cat has now been with us for two months, and is very settled and starting to show us her true character - which is nosy, bold, shameless, demanding, affectionate, sweet, and utterly adorabe
but she eats the weirdest things! - so far: bread, crisps, soya beans, rice crispies, lemon sorbet and mushrooms!
Riley is a real catty-cat when it comes to food - meat or catfood, and cheese if he can steal it. She really will just eat almost anything! Obviously, we don't allow her crisps - too salty - but it doesn't stop her trying! No matter what we have, she just HAS to come and have a look, and 9 times out of 10, try a bit, if she can get away with it!
Riley is too polite - he doesn't even mooch, just potters around or goes for a snooze. He knows if it's something "good", we usually keep a bit for him, or if not, he will get something more appropriate later. Skye is just obssessively nosy (which is quite sweet) about food - she actually (very gently) pawed my mouth open and had a wee lookie and sniff to see if what I'd just finished had been any good!
