Just thought I'd let you all have an update on little Miss.

I took her back home to her permanent foster home with my mum last night.  She yelled all the way there in the car but once there... ran out the box and ran all round the house as if to say "I'm Home!!!"   Bless her.

She ran straight up to my mums German shepherd threw herself on her back with paws and legs up in the air .  He came over and rubbed his nose along her tummy and she let out a loud squeal as if to say "yyaaaaayyy.... back with my big bro!"

Bless her... it was such a lovely sight to see and she was SOOOO happy.

She has been through a lot and we've all got our fingers crossed that it will be some time before she has to go through it all again.

Thanks again to everyone for all the kind thoughts and wishes.   We like to think its made a difference!

Ditto here too  :ahh:
DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Update on Jorie

Well I had little miss back at the vets yesterday.

My hope was to have her in to get the drain removed and she could heal up and head back down to her foster home... but that wasn't quite to be just yet!  :shy:

There is still a good bit of fluid draining off her neck and the vet gave it a good 'squeeze' and quite a bit came pouring out!   eww...  so she has to have the drain in for another week.

It is a long time to have the drain in but they reckon that she needs it.  She's covered with antibiotics so we just have to keep bathing and prodding until next Tuesday / Wednesday when the drain should hopefully be able to come out!    Bless her, she's been SO good and hasn't bothered or complained at all about having it in.  She's being a reall wee sweatheart and is actually looking really well    (well apart from the big bit of plastic in her neck!!)

Will try and get a pic in a bit to let you see how she's doing.    But she sends her thanks for all the healing vibes and sends her  :Luv: to all her furbabe pals from the forum!   ;)
