How mind-bogglingly irresponsible The cattery owners should be sued to the hilt. Surely they have records of which cat belongs to whom and contact numbers for owners so they can check if someone is collecting on their behalf!!! I would be speechless with anger if I can home to a shambles like that!!! :mad2:

Ummmmmm I think I want a persian or a bengal and go there and say thats my cat give it to me, NOW .....................dont be so  :censored: stupid , the cattery should have said!

And what good is a collar going toi do except in some cases damage to the cat!

This gets even worse. So who was the escapee cat that they originally referred them too. Presumable there is another owner out there somewhere who is coming home to a kitty-free zone. I reckon its time the local papers took a hand in this one. Those people shouldn't be in business. >:(

That must be a different cattery BC, the cattery in question is in Notts....  Doesn't inspire confidence in catteries in general though  :scared:

Why do you think i have my babes cared for in-home by a properly checked out cat-sitter .................

Sorry, I have no idea of the geography of this place yet lol

This is absolutely shocking! They lady who runs the rescue I help at also has a cattery. She is incredibly meticulous to the point the cats can have mineral water if they prefer and have home made, heated beds but even so, when a cat's registered they take details of everything including what treats you would/wouldn't give your cat, what food he/she eats and loads of other stuff. There is a whiteboard in the kitchen with all the cats' needs on and each pen is labelled "Welcome to cat's name", with the dates.
This seems like basics to me and I can't believe someone in the profession can  :censored: it up so badly.

The line about collars made me laugh too. There's no need, just look after the animals in your care!  >:(

Ok, rant over, hope Dave comes back soon!

It made me feel sick reading that, yes no doubt Catterys do you a good service and most
are excellent in Looking after your babe, But coming home from holiday to discover they have
given your cat away??? Cant Imagine the hurt/stress and worry these poor people must be
going through

It's a damned Disgrace !!!!
