Title: Help me name my new cat
Post by: MiddleEarthNet on February 09, 2019, 19:40:28 PM
I’ve just taken on a 3.5 year old female beauty for a friend (due to circumstances). She has the name Fury already but it’s not a good name her. She is so sweet natured. Plus I like my cats to have proper human names. I like ones where the sound naturally goes up at the end of the name. Previous cats have been Katie, Sophie, Frankie and Alfie.
Possible names I thought of: Lucy, Maisie, Molly, Elsie and Annie. Any of them suit her? Or is there another name I’ve not thought of?

Thanks for the replies everyone.

Faerie is a very pretty name.  Not quite my style but it is certainly a pretty name.

Ooh Mitzi, Rosie and Bonnie are all really good.  This afternoon, I tried calling her Maisie and I quite like it.

She's an Annie - definitely an Annie,   ;D  sweet natured and beautiful.

Definitely a misnamed Fury, what was your decision in the end?

In the end I settled on Maisie.  I tried calling her by all the names suggested and Maisie was the one that was easiest for me to say without really having to think about it.  So she’s now Maisie.
But I’ve saved the list of possible names for any future kitties as I really liked the ideas.
