Title: Beautiful Bass has gone
Post by: jezebel on June 24, 2018, 17:50:46 PM: Our gorgeous ninja, Bass, passed to the Bridge today. She was a couple of months shy of 18 years old, we'd had her for nearly eight years.

Bravely fighting a brain tumour, she lasted for a month more than we - or the vet - expected. We are so grateful to have had two months of total spoiling and loving and enjoying every moment with her.
She did well, perked up on steroids and almost returned to her old self, we thought she'd go on for ever.
Sadly, yesterday she took a turn for the worse, and today we made the hardest decision to help her on her way.

Me and OH are in bits.
Play hard the Bridge, gorgeous girl. For a small, quiet cat you burned very brightly, and your passing is the end of an era. Miss you so much already.

Reaching such a good age is testament to the love and care she enjoyed but I know that doesn't help just know.

The feeling of loss will be overwhelming. Really feel for you both. Such a beauty :catluv:

Never noticed that before - I think it might be the camera angle, but it's very sweet.
