He is bruised and sore, severely damaged leathers and £1,500 damage to his bike, but the important bit, him, came off relatively unscathed. I hope that PandoraWarlord doesn't mind me posting this, but I know how people worry about each other on Purrs. :-[

Me too.  That's the trouble with a motorbike - there's little protection in the event of an accident.  Very scary.

So pleased that there was nothing worse than the damage to the bike and the leathers.

thanks everyone it has been scary and my son is having flashbacks.
....well its not everyday an extremely large woman bounces into traffic sending a bike rider flying down the road and then falls down cutting their head....... even the police do not know what this woman was doing!

O.M.G. THE WORLD IS FULL OF SO MANY STRANGE HAPPENINGS THAT WE NEVER GET ANSWERS TO UNFORTUNATELY

IF YOUR SON CONTINUES HAVING PROBLEMS WITH FLASHBACKS AD ANYTHING ELSE HE SHOULD GET SOME COUNSELLING TO HELP HIM COME TO TERMS WITH IT ALL

HOPE YOUR UPSET ENDS SOON

PAULA TO THE RESCUE AGAIN - HOW THE HELL DO YOU DO IT GIRL?   WHO NEEDS SUPERWOMAN WHEN YOU ARE AROUND?

What do you mean another bike?, it was an MT-01, that is so much better that another bike. :wow: Shows how much they think of your Son. They are wicked and if I was a foot taller, that is what I would hanker after. ;)

I know it was a big Yamaha NT01 and it was a lovely bike, as big as his actual bike called the beast which was being serviced ( really don't know about bikes) will have to write it all down next time I see my son and let you know
