He was called Butter at the CPL, we saw him on their website and and was attracted to his name.. as well as his pic  :) although he doesn't know his name even after us having him for 13 months - or maybe it's selective hearing  :shify: :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

ALMOST DEFINATELY SELECTIVE HEARING LOL

NAPOLEON HAD HIS NAME SINCE  CAME TO ME AND IGNORED IT, HIS BRO ALSO IGNORED  HIS WHICH WAS WELLINGTON. TRIED THE OBVIOUS ABBREVIATIONS, NAPS, NAP, WELLS ETC BUT NOT A ZILCH.

I ADDED TO THE FRONT OF EACH NAME MY PREFERRED NAME SO FRANTA NAPOLEON AND DUCHA (DOOKA LOL) WELLINGTON. DUCHA STARTED ANSWERING TO DUCHA QUITE QUICK BUT NOT A SAUSAGE FROM NAPOLEON.

WHEN HE WAS AT VETS MENTIONED THIS AND THEY TRIED HEARING TESTS WITH HIM LIKE CLAPPING BEHIND HIM, RATTLING KEYS ETC AND CAME TO SAME COMNCLUSION AS ME..........HE WAS DEAF.

RIGHT OK ONE DEAF CAT, NO PROBLEM BUT AT LEAST I KNOW.

A FEW WEEKS LATER HE WAS BEING NORTY AND I SHOUTED NAPOLEON AT HIM AND THE MONSTER TURNED ROUND AND LOOKED AT ME..............DEAF MY HAT, HE COULD HEAR PURRFECTLY WELL AND CONTINED TO ANSWER TO NAPOLEON.
