Hello, I am Toby
I run a cat related website but I'm not going to link it here. Apparently we have been mentioned on here as Google tells me you guys may have sent some visitors our way, :thanks:
We have a very handsome rescue Bengal called Simba. He is not very good with other kitties but he is the sweetest little cat we have ever had the fortune to serve under! He got in a bit of a fight and his face was cut open from the top of his head to below his jaw. His previous owners were not very nice people and took him to the Vet to be put to sleep.
Thankfully the Vet was smarter than they were and decided to fix him up and find a loving home. He has a little patch of fur missing from the top of his head where the scar tissue has grown but it is slowly getting smaller as the fur around it covers it up.
Feel free to say hi or if you have any questions I would be happy to answer them.

Hello Toby and Simba - welcome to Purrs. Simba, you're absolutely stunning - hansum chap, you! :Luv:
Glad you found us, and hope you enjoy the forum. Thanks too for sharing your story of how you and Simba found each other (and praise to the Vet who was astute enough to ignore the original carer's instructions)

Thank you everyone for being so kind.
Simba is sat here right now between me, the keyboard and the screen. I am sure this is one of preferred places to park.
Just a quick question about Bengals if I may so this is probably @liz.
Are they usually very talkative? I don't really mind even at 4am but he has a very loud meow which sometimes turns into something else more of a (trying to emulate cat) 'Maru Maru Maru'.
I have tried to film him doing it but with no luck at the moment if I manage to do so I will put it on YouTube.
Thanks again everyone.

Have to say Quaver my boy is quiet but the girls love the sound of their own voices especially Bambam but the others Bibi, Pyper, Minstrel (who is missing currently), Larrson and Harmony all like to sing the song of their people closely followed by the Ragdolls Minmin and Casper, add in the mix the yowling ferals and I could have a choir some mornings :)
