Hi all,
About a week ago a little kitten showed up in my garden, no collar and very hungry.
I felt a connection to him the moment our eyes made contact. Anyway he started coming back every day, now hes moved into my home and sleeps with me at night.
He reminds me of Rossi so much, not so much white but there are similarities.
He has come into my life and helped me so much, i was not really sure if i could take on another cat again.
Even less a cat that reminded me of Rossi but strangely it does seem to help me.
Hes going to be a big boy some day soon.
PS, i have been on gumtree and asked everyone in my street to see if they own him and i have not had any responses so far.
I hope that i can get to keep him because we have bonded.

Have you had him scanned for a chip yet? He may have climbed aboard an open van and jumped out away from home. I know how much you'd love to keep him but ... :hug: :hug: :hug:

I have a neice who is a veterinary assistant, she is going to try to borrow the scanner and call round. Will let you know.

My Alfie came to me in similar circumstances, although he was a few months older. He spent about 48 hours sat on my chest, once he was sure he had me where he wanted he ventured elsewhere. It was love at first sight for me :Luv2: I worked very hard, with the CPS, to try and find his owner and, just a couple of days before I could call him 'mine', someone finally came forward :'(
These people had done nothing to try and find the cat themselves. No posters, no call to Cat's Protection, no call to local vets etc. They hadn't even responded to all the posters I had put up - one of which was virtually outside their house. And now they wanted to take him off me >:(
I was distraught and a friend suggested we ask the owners if we could keep him. That was clearly not going to work - who could possibly bear to give this lovely boy up? The answer is - they could. Didn't even want any payment for him. I was down the vet getting him chipped to me at the first opportunity! ;D

Thanks folks, i'm really happy with him. Hes so adorable.
Will make an app with my vet for a little checkup and get him chipped soon.
Elvis is still figuring him out but i think they will be great friends in the future.

Ahh how lovely. A new cat to look after can certainly go a long way to help heal a broken heart. Especially one that needs a good home and some love. :hug:

What a wonderful story behind a very handsome cat - ditto with what others are saying about getting Buzz micro-chipped quickly so then he is definitely yours.
Buzz is lovely - so sleek and shiny. Also love Elvis as well and I'm sure they'll both learn to live together happily.

Buzz is a stunner and I'm so pleased he's found his way into your life and is helping to heal your broken heart. I suspect Rossi had a paw in that. ;D

took little Buzz in today for a checkup and micro chipping, hes doing great... eating really well and putting on some weight.
