Hi my name is Michelle an I live in Colorado USA with my husband an three cats Purrbody ,sonic and rukia I also baby or kitten sit for my friends here. I live in a small mountain town. Sonic is a therapy cat for me he hose every where with me its great he really helps me rukia is my husbands baby she's a tortoiseshell cat an Purrbody is a Russian blue. So I'll post pictures of all them for you to see an would love to hear from any of you.

How long have you had your babies, and how did you come by each of them? How great that Sonic is a therapy cat ;D Where do you go and what does he enjoy the most?

So I've had Purrbody the longest he will be eight this November I acquired him from a coworker. We really at the time was not supposed to have animals so when I brought him home my husband freaked. He got his name cause every time I was around him he would purr an the old cartoon Mr. Peabody. So his real name is Mr. Purrbody but hose by baby's or purrs for short nick names. Sonic is six months almost to the day younger than purrbody. I got him off a website call craigslist for my husband my husband wanted a cat by the name of sonic an I wanted another gray cat, so we searched an we found this small little gray an white cat by the name of sonic it was ment to be. Then we noticed he started to pick out when I was going to have a sezuire an alerted my husband so we got him certified. So he now go's everywhere with me, he is leash trained an command trained he loves to go out he is the perfect cat to travel with lol. He likes petsmart the best cause he gets treats.he loves his food lol. Now rukia we got at petsmart a little over a year ago an as far as we can figure she is about four years old. She's still coming out of her shell an would be much happyer if she was a only cat. But she is turning into a great all around cat. All of my cats are commaned trained an leash trained an all of them are little cuddle bugs. They all curl up on my lap an when its winter an I'm under a blanket they will curl up under it to. We all go on walks every day its funny to see some reactions to walking three cats at once. Its been fun they are on evo which is a health food for cats that has fifty grams of protein the highest that I have ever seen in food plus a pound of scrap meat a day. So they are feed well. :evillaugh:

Oh boy - look at those lovely phtos! ;D Thanks so much for sharing with us how you got your beautiful cat babies - it's so nice to know how our members get involved with cats, especially as not all of us came from historically "cat supportive" backgrounds. :shify: (Tis true - I was one of them!) :evillaugh:
I can imagine with your job, there's a lot of temptation to expand your feline family, and you must get tremendous satisfaction from the work.
It's fantastic that Sonic is so attuned to you that he knows when you're going to be prone to a fit, and it's a fascinating ability many dogs and cats appear to have. What a treasure :Luv:
Enjoy the forum - it really is a friendly place, and with loads of different bits of information, places where the cats can have their own say (and frequently do :evillaugh:) and each year in the run up to Christmas, there is the mayhem and madness that is the Purrs Christmas Auction - it runs over period of around 2 weeks, and it's always great fun and a good laugh.

Yes I am a broncos fan an a avalanche fan NHL lol. I cannot wait for either season to start. I watch them with my cats lol. It is really quite funny Purrbody likes just to be around me so hell curl up with me to watch the games. Sonic will to.its nice to get to meet all of you. I'm sitting here typing with sonic giving me head bonks lol. Something I absolutely love.☺😀.

We don't have any bears over here which is sad but there was a rumour that they were going to reintroduce some in Scotland along with wolves and European wild cats. They have successfuly reintroduced beaver to Scotland and some parts of England.

I'm sorry that you don't have any bears there I would also love to see the reintroduction of bears there to. :wow: Fabulous piccies. And you have travelling cats! Carol, another of our Purrs members, has two cats, Bunty & Biggles, who regularly become canal boat cats when they go on their holidays. ;D

Yes they have been traveling cats for awhile now sonic really likes to go out an do things we go to parks, stores all sorts of places. It really is fun to take them out, Tim an I have lived in our car for a year total, with our cats so they got use to it, life has a way of being hard but bringing everything together all at once so my cats are well traveled. But very well taking care of, they have seen places an things that people haven't even seen, its really kinda neat.

I'd love to see bears reintroduced in Scotland. Wolves too.
Yes that would be great. But as they are trying to kill of the badgers in West Somerset and Glos. at the moment, I worry that they would do the same to bears and wolves. Man just can't stop destroying nature.

After we lost our son the cats became a huge part of our lives an kept us together an sain so without theses guys I really don't know where I or my husband would be. So animals are my saving grase

I agree. If it hadn't been for Tigger and Lulu I wouldn't be here . After my mother died in Dec 2009 I was very depressed. I lost 6.5 stones (91 pounds) in 2 months I was very ill, but I had my cats and they needed me and I needed them. So I devoted everything to them and I eventually pulled myself together slowly. They had the best that I could give them for 5 years until I lost them. Now I have Astrophe and Zoonie and they deserve the best too.
