Title: How long before I feed new kittens?

Kali and Riley have been home for about an hour now.  The journey was OK but Riley was sick half way through.  I'm not overly worried, I think it was travel sickness (journey was about an hour) as it was only a little bit and he is fine now, he's been bounding around and is now fast asleep snuggled up next to Kali.

How long should I leave it before I put some food down for them?  They already have water down.

i'd put out a little bit helen, maybe only to give them a "snack" and see how you get on then if they are ok you can give them abit more at tea time  ;D

what will you be feeding them helen?

when i got charlie home i had to wean him from felix to natures menu, took about 4-5 days, gradually putting more n/m in.

the only thing i hate about n/m is the fact that the kitten kind only comes in chicken, recently i've started mixing some hi-life kitten in too bc that has a bit of variety  ;D he's taken fine to that too :)

Well, Riley has eaten 1 1/2 small portions and Kali has had nothing  :-:  She's fine in herself though, whirling round and climbing on things  ;D

At the moment they are on Whiskas kitten.  I'm going to start them on Natures Menu, I was a bit worried about only having one flavour for them too but a couple of people on here said their kittens were OK with it.

yeah mines all love natures menu, it was me who had the problem  :rofl:

will you be giving them dry food?

Yeah, have got James Wellbeloved kitten.  Am going to wait until they are settled on NM before I introduce that though, don't want any poorly tummies.  Just checked on them and they are snuggled up together sound asleep  :)

they are the sweetest wee angels, very very spoilt wee angels by the looks of it too  :rofl:
