Dear Animal Lover,
Please see below for photos of Kitt & Dave, my 2 wee cats who need a home.
Kitt is black with white flashes on her face, chest & paws. She will be 4 years old
on 6th Feb 2012 and she is Dave's totally devoted mum. She washes him
constantly & they both cuddle in to sleeo. She is extremely friendly
and loves to suck on my clothes whilst being petted. She goes outside
but never for long periods & just lives a good cuddle in.
Dave is a wee playful torag! He will be 2 years old on 17th May 2012.
He us jet black aside from a little almost unnoticeable flash on his
side where you'd think he'd skiffed a white paintbrush. He likes to go
& hunt for hours at a time but is unbelievably friendly and trusting
of humans. He us very cheeky and also very loving.
I believe they would be very upset and anxious if they were to be
separated from each other and I would be very happy to contribute towards their food if they could be kept together.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks,
Bernadette Cusick

Please can you help? Kitt & Dave need a loving new home urgently. I am moving to accommodation that doesn't accept cats. They are both very loving, great with kids and need to stay together.
Kitt will be 4 years old on the 6th Feb 2012 and is Dave's mum. She loves to cuddle in and suck in your clothes. She is an absolute darling. Dave will be 2 years old on 17th May. He is very cuddly when he decides but spends most of his time playing and jumping on Kitt. He can't walk passed her without her cleaning him!
They are both adorable and I think they'd be very upset if they were to be separated. I live near Edinburgh but would be willing to travel to deliver these beautiful wee cats to a loving and safe home.
Please can you help? We are moving this weekend!

Hi and welcome Bernadette, sorry you're having to rehome your cats. Which area are you?
If you adopted your cats from Cats Protection, usually it's their policy to have the cats returned to them if for any reason they need rehoming, some other rescues have the same policies so it would be worth checking any adoption papers - if you have them.
If not, and there are no family or friends who can take them, at least temporarily, it's a good idea to contact rescues in your area as they will do proper checks and find the most suitable home, you'll find a list of rescues in your area if you click on the map, and do tell them that they need to stay together:

You also will need to stress how urgent the situation is too and hopefully they will be able to help sooner than later. Best of luck.
