Just watched an episode of Animal Cops Phoenix,(Animal Planet+ ch 535 at 6pm) where a cat is handed in,it's owner wrapped elastic bands around it's front paws to get them to fall off!!!!
Cat found a home but needs special help as she's no front paws.
Why would anyone do this?...It's beyond me.

Yup,it looked like a lovers tiff & girl left boy,girl handed cat into shelter as she didn't want her anymore & blamed ex for putting elastic bands around the cats paws just in front of the thumb claw,just like some people   :censored: do to dock dogs tails & it looks like the tail was done too.
The cat can't wash or groom herself but is the most beautiful grey cat.
It's repeated at 6pm tonight on Animal Planet+ on Sky 535

Not enough evidence. She said he did it,he said she did it & the bloke had moved out of state.The cat got a good loving home in a sanctuary for special needs cats.

Once again scumbags like these get away with such cruelty because they blame each other and don't have the b***s to admit they did it, in my book they are equally guilty as they both live together one or the other knew this had happened and should have removed the elastic bands as soon as they realised what was going on, and removed the cat from any further abuse, obviously this didn't happen therefore they  both should have been prosecuted and slung inside with cat lovers and been left to them to dish out their punishment,
It's time the courts changed the way these  :censored:  :censored:  are dealt with, this cat must have been like this for some time in pain and distressed for it to lose it's paws.

So glad that the kitty has found a caring and loving home to spend the rest of it's days with people who will love it and treat it with the affection it deserves.
